We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we also comply with it.

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We only process the data we need for the respective purpose, and only for as long as this is necessary or required by law.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit a page, technically necessary data is processed, in particular your IP address, date and time, the page visited, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used to deliver the website, for security and for error analysis. We do not combine it with other data. When you visit the website without giving consent, no cookies are set and no third-party content is loaded.

The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS).

When you write to us using the contact form, we process the information you provide: first name, last name, email, phone, message and, optionally, company and request type. If your enquiry relates to a property, we also transmit the reference to that property and the address of the page from which you submitted the form.

We use this data to answer your enquiry and to clarify any follow-up questions. The information is stored in our customer relationship management system HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA, or its group companies), in a data centre in the EU. We do not transmit your IP address to HubSpot. We do not pass on your information to third parties, except to the service providers named here.

To protect against spam and automated requests, we use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Turnstile is loaded as soon as the form is displayed and checks technical characteristics of your browser and device in order to distinguish humans from bots. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare. Turnstile does not set any cookies.

On your first visit, we ask whether you allow statistics and external media. Without your consent, we do not load these services. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

• Necessary: Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage, entry “lhp-einwilligung”), not in a cookie. It remains stored until you change it or clear your browser storage. Always active.
• Statistics: Google Analytics with the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<ID>” (see section 6). Only with consent.
• External media: Google Maps on the contact page (see section 7). Google may set cookies in the process. Only with consent or if you load the map yourself.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC (USA). Google Analytics sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<ID>” (storage period up to 2 years) and records how the website is used, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store complete IP addresses. Event data is deleted after 2 months and user-level data after 14 months. If you use the website again, the period for user-level data starts anew.

We use the analyses to improve the website. We do not link them to your name or contact details.

On the contact page, we show a map from Google Maps (Google LLC, USA). The map is only loaded once you have given your consent or clicked “Load map”. In the process, your IP address and information about your use of the map in particular are transmitted to Google. Together with the map, Google also loads the fonts required to display it (Google Fonts). Google may set its own cookies, especially if you are signed in to a Google account.

Our website links to our profiles on LinkedIn and XING. These are simple links, not embedded plugins. Only when you click a link are you taken to the provider's website, where its privacy policy applies.

Some of our service providers are based in the USA or process data there (Cloudflare, Google, HubSpot). These service providers are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for companies certified in this way, the USA is considered a country with an adequate level of data protection. Where this does not apply, we rely on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission as recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. We keep enquiries and business correspondence for as long as the business relationship lasts and statutory retention obligations apply.

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to:

• request information about the personal data we process about you,
• have incorrect data corrected,
• request the deletion of your data, unless there is a statutory obligation to retain it,
• object to processing and to withdraw consent you have given at any time,
• receive your data in a common electronic format.

To do so, please contact us at the address in section 1. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and, where the GDPR applies, with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

We may amend this privacy policy if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published on this website at any given time applies.
